April 8, 2025We were honored to meet Melynda Clark, U.S. Navy Veteran and Military Spouse, at TPG Performance Center. She received her new golf set and first lesson from golf instructor Sara Mckevitt.
From Oklahoma to the U.S. Navy
We met her husband, beneficiary of our mission, Keith Clark, a couple of weeks ago and asked him to convince his wife to join our program. Melynda shared the following with us:
"Hello! My name is Melynda Clark, and I'm originally from Oklahoma. I proudly served in the Navy for four years, where I met my wonderful spouse. We are celebrating our thirtieth anniversary this year.
Currently, I'm a full-time junior student at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), majoring in Professional Studies. Alongside my academic pursuits, I work full-time as an Authorization Specialist, balancing a busy schedule while being a devoted mother to my two amazing daughters.
In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies, including spending time at the beach, traveling, reading, and baking delicious treats. Recently, I've also taken up learning golf, which has been a fun and exciting challenge.
I'm always striving to balance my professional, personal, and academic goals while embracing new experiences along the way."
