Jeff and Brody Moore Make 200 Beneficiaries!

Jeffrey started his military career as a Finance Specialist in 1997. He graduated from the Florida Military Academy State Officer Candidate School program and was commissioned as a Finance Officer, assigned to the State Area Command. In 2001, Jeff transferred to the 3rd Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne), where he served as the Service Detachment Commander, Headquarters Detachment and Support Company Commander, and Battalion S-4. 

While serving with the Special Forces, he deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan (2002) and Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq (2006-2007).  Later, he was assigned as the 1996th Contingency Contracting Team Leader, responsible for standing up this newly formed unit in the FLARNG.  Jeff transferred to the Joint Forces Headquarters, serving in multiple key logistics assignments, including Command Supply Discipline Branch Chief, Contracting Officer, Internal Review Branch Chief, USPFO-FL Supplies & Services Division Chief, and FLARNG Deputy G4.

He then served as Commander of the 254th Transportation Battalion. Before his current assignment, his last military duty position was Deputy Director, Office of Small Business Programs, National Guard Bureau, Washington, DC. LTC Moore holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is a Level III Certified Army Acquisition Professional.  In addition to his military service, Jeff is currently serving full-time as Chief of Contracting with the FLARNG as a Federal Technician for the last 27 years, where he holds a $50 million Contracting Officer Warrant.

Jeff is married to Lori and lives in St. Augustine with their two sons, Caleb and our newest birdie, Brody.
