We are happy to welcome more female veterans to the Will of Iron Golf Program in 2024. Meet U.S. Navy Veteran Daniela Cossio. Born in Mexico, her family moved to San Diego, California, when she was five. Daniela joined the Navy in 2000 and served for twenty years. She retired as a Chief Petty Officer (E-7). Daniela worked as a Parachute Rigger early in her career, then ultimately as a Navy Counselor. She completed two combat deployments for Operation Iraqi/Enduring Freedom and five others throughout Southeast Asia.

Daniela is thankful for the opportunity to learn the game of golf for its therapeutic benefits. She is a mother of two young boys with whom she hopes to share the game of golf. We salute Daniela for her devoted service to our nation, and we hope her sons will soon join our Birdies of Eagles Golf Program.
