June 25, 2024Twelve of our Birdies of Eagles celebrated the end of the school year at Travis Fulton Golf Studio with fun games, yummy food, and great prizes.
We warmly welcomed our two new birdies, Ethan Cope and Nina Dunn. Ethan, the son of U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Justin Cope, and Nina, the daughter of U.S. Army Veteran Graham Dunn.
They received their new golf sets and will begin lessons in the coming weeks, feeling valued and part of our close-knit community.
Love of Golf
All kids practiced their driving, chipping, and putting skills and received tips from Travis Fulton. Maddox Anderson had not one, but two bullseyes and received a tiger headcover he later named "Woods."
Our Birdies of Eagles Golf Program is more than just a sport. It's a tool that empowers military families. By teaching the kids to love golf, we're fostering a lifelong bond between them and their parents, a bond that will last long after their time in the program.
We are grateful for Travis Fulton, who not only dedicated time to the kids but also discounted the fee for our event.
